Is it possible to green all deserts?

I'd like to keep this short and simple!
Is it possible to green our deserts without creating new deserts?

Technically its possible to green our deserts.
With lots of money, time and water supply we can do this.
But all forests do attract rain to fall.

But when for example the sahara is re-greened.
Wouldn't these newly created weather patterns change for the bad in other regions?
Possibly changing the climate in for example in India

Closing Statement from ZX Style

Allright many people here don't see a point in greening the desert.
Luckily the latest ted talk guy: Allan Savory did see a point in it.
Improving the worlds climate.

i'd advice to watch his talk about how to green the desert.
I'ts done by letting animals graze the land and let the poo give nutrients to the soil.

  • Feb 18 2013: I grew up in Libya in 1960's. The government then was trying to reclaim the edges of the Sahara with grass. Apparently they thought it was possible. To my knowledge it hasn't yet worked. It's a hard problem.
