Do YOU dream?

Do YOU dream?

Of course you do, we all do.

It is one of the great traits that we as human beings all share in common.

Dreams are powerful, influential and more significant than anyone truly comprehends.

Forever dream, dream forever.

  • Feb 19 2013: I'd like to know what conscious effort we have in dreams?
Is there some effort on our part that we use to make us dream?
Yes, I dream. My dreams have, for the most part, been exhausting.

Somewhere within the first 10 years of my life I had the same dream every night for about 5-6 years.
In it, I was at the bottom of some deep hole, on my back looking up at the opening, way above me.
There would be a round object, that seemed/felt like another planet in that it was monstrously gigantic.
When it rolled over the opening, blocking every thing out, I could somehow feel its weight as a presence, pushing down on me even though it couldn't fit into the hole. I have no idea what it was or what it may have meant.

My sister and I had almost the exact same dream (very close to exact) for 15 years. One day one of us said something while we were conversing with our mother, and one of us recognized the dream and we took turns describing the events, who was in the dream, what they looked like, how they were dressed, with each one finishing the description perfectly as to what happened next. About two years after this, I realized it wasn't a dream. It was a memory.

I've had another dream for most of my life but I cannot share that one.
I know what it means and why but can do nothing about it. It is terribly exhausting and depressing.
There have been times when I was awake and functioning but I really didn't know whether or not I was in the dream or in my life. They were one and the same. Maybe they are.

Feb 20 2013: Dreams are fascinating to me because dreams are infinite. There is no limit to the
possibilities and endless anomalies of dreams. Dreams are unpredictable yet dreams can
be categorized, characterized, influenced and even controlled. Dreams are a paradox of
time and space because dreams are intertwined with reality. The conscious mind is
interconnected with the subconscious mind, therefore, conscious thoughts can influence
subconscious thoughts and vice versa. Meaning, you could dream about whatever you
love or desire and if you follow the good signs, you can make your dreams come true...
