What's the best way to help developing nations?

Is it best to just give resources to third-world countries or is education the best way to go?

Feb 12 2013: Self help is always the best.....

Ensuring no intrusion / invasion in any form from any corner can be another good help

Feb 12 2013: Isn't protection invasive and inconsistent with self-help?

Feb 12 2013: Yes, thats why it's not the best.

Feb 12 2013: To offer more than one options....
Instead saying "Ensuring" it would be better to say "don't intrude /invade"
        Any concern ?

Feb 12 2013: Yes. I agree heartily with your opinion that self-help is the BEST! Perhaps I need to know who you are suggesting should "ensure no intrusion/invasion"? I was assuming you were suggesting some outsiders would provide that service which is in itself an invasive process. Are you suggesting the developing country itself should ensure no intrusion/invasion? If so I have no concern about your suggestion.

Feb 13 2013: Sorry for being too vague in my communication......I didn't want to say some outisder should provide any protection service to "ENSURE no invasion /intrusion"....rather wanted to say outsiders should control their own instinct of invasion / intrusion......

Outsiders not only includes countries but also includes organisations like WB, IMF ....

However , yes developing country again have to help self to fight back of their own those intrusion /invasion
