To what extent can we use time to gain more knowledge?

To what extent can we use time to gain more knowledge? We can use emotion, reasoning, language, and our senses to gain more knowledge of the world around us. But can we use time to do that aswell? What are your views on time and knowledge? are they linked?

    Jan 30 2013: i think the acknowledgement of time as you use other senses to gain knowledge is the extent of how we can use it.
