Should our present day healing also consist of ancient healing practices?
I used to have OCD, Depression, built up anger,.... I went to a spiritual healer who channels one of the hindu angels, and the angel was able to heal me of all the above listed mental problems. My question now is that should we change modern day healing to incorporate ancient healing methods too. I find that today's healing is more about earning money, its more of a scam.

My opinion is that in the olden days, believing in a spiritual world was normal. Now science seems to be obliterating that because it cannot detect or measure anything spiritual, so it is not there.
Just as our mind influences our body through the brain, it in turn is strongly influenced by the spiritual world we live in.
Very glad about your experience and how it helped. Sometimes people have a NDE and that may be the best thing that ever happened to them, and changed their life, sometimes.
This is a book about that spiritual world http://webhome.idirect.com/~abraam/documents/TheSpiritualWorld.pdf

It seems very much the case that healing is very much about money, that's why I call it the Medical Industry. But it is not limited to that at all. People in general seem to only have a job to make money, not to be useful and make a difference.
One of Swedenborg's most famous quotes is
"Man is born not for the sake of himself, but for the sake of others."

The rest of the questions you asked for such as how do we know who needs what and how much..., all of that was used and developed in the past when the alternative systems were in place. Now about us trying to retrace the past back may or may not be possible, but what can be done is that the current R&D teams can work and figure things out so that we have a whole variety to seek treatment from.

My issue with current medical practices is that is has become 100% reliant on prescriptions, seldom do GP's refer patients for counselling, or know about vitamin regimes, etc. Most are so caught into the benefits that come from the pharmaceutical companies that alternatives don't even occur to them.
When I find a GP who is more open-minded, usually an Asian one, then I am much more comfortable.

The ancient ways of healing are cost and time effective. The Angels also do culture us well, I did ask is there a cure for aids, cancer... I was told yes there is. (I did not ask any further as I did not have either of the problems).

Actually, many psychologists are quite happy to see their patients get involved in religion, believe it is good for them.

I have seen some real miracles with reiki, acupuncture and more recently a young lad with MS was healed by a lady with no traditional qualifications. She was a massuaer who has a strong spiritual practice and it worked for this young man.

Most definitely & it’s happening, I know of a bloke who’s created his own technique which is similar to the bowen technique, it’s that good some surgeons send their patients to him before & after operations.
