Who inspires you most in life, & why?
So i was recently thinking about who has made an impact on my life & why this person has done so.
A family member of mine got seriously ill and was in intense care for 7 days. Fortunately she lived but then spent 7 months in hospital. Her illness left her with brain damage.
Before she got ill she was pregnant, about to buy a house with her boyfriend & finally got her dream job as a social worker.
When she got home she had lost the house she was going to buy, her job, her driving license & her memories.
It took her a long time to accept what had happened.
Now she is so thankful that her and her baby boy are alive and well, and that you have to live each day to it's max. She always says "I must have been horrible in my other life for this to happen to me in this one."

"we must have done something wrong to deserve this"
cheating
harvesting nature
religion
politics
a servant class
angles
denying responsibility
poisoning our food
our air
our water
creating illness:
these are some of the things we have "done wrong"
there was no "before", before, IMO
There was no OS cause (original sin/cause)
this is what we had
and this is what we did
and this is what we're 'gonna get
If there was an OC (the Adam/Eve thing),
methinks it was as simple as what might have been thought after eating the apple.
What did you learn?
"We learned how to provide for ourselves."
and this is what we have done.
If there was a Garden, earth was it,
and is no longer.
It will become unfit for us
in order to get rid of us
and maybe another species will value it.

so I am also inspired by those who dont give up. It takes great strength, in fact, uncommon strength to keep going when the going gets tough.
I'm inspired by Nelson Mandela, 27 years in prison would not change his resolve to fight for equality and justice; I'm inspired by Gandhi, he achieved so much without violence and bloodshed, he didn't even have an army or a lot of money; I'm inspired by your family member Cassy Lee; more importantly I'm inspired by Jesus Christ who keeps loving humanity, who keeps loving me, despite my/our failings and imperfections and inadequacies.

And I must agree with her - what goes down does come around. That nothing can happen to us without a previous cause even though we might not be able to trace it ourselves.
