What charity does the US need the most and why?

So many of our efforts are for people abroad - clean drinking water, clothes, medicine - but I was wondering what charity Americans could benefit the most from?

      Jan 4 2013: Thanks Pat - I agree - a charity that empowers people to provide for themselves. So what is that? Education?

        Jan 4 2013: Yes always. The best educator is the culture. Unfortunately the treasonous politicians (think putrid scum, if I sound angry that is appropriate) have changed this into a culture of entitlement such as Europe, and that is the catalyst that is monumentally difficult to change but it CAN be done.
