Looking for a term that defines individuals as having created everything around them by being a medium of perception.

When talking about reality. I'm looking for a word / term that says that we create everything and anything.

I hope my question is clear enough.
Thank you.

I thank you all for your time and insights.

I'm working on a project, and these comments matter greatly!

Dec 29 2012: Self-actualized. Awakened. Enlightened. These are a few.

I choose to simply say that I am a deliberate manifester. People who don't know that they too manifest everything will not know what you are trying to say anyhow, so the word is unimportant. Only those who know what you are saying will be able to hear you no matter what word you use.

Of course, you could always invent a word and popularize it. But what energy you will waste in doing so.

  • Dec 29 2012: Historiographers.
If you want to stress that those people are with the agenda you may add ' amateur ' , meaning that they are not professional historians who try, never do, for it is not possible, but they try to describe events objectively.

....Amateur historiographers believe you can create the truth by influencing people.

If you want to coin something new : plot generator; messenger/ transmitter/ carrier of the idea... or plot dwellers.
I like the last one, we tend to create stories and honestly inhabit them :)

Dec 29 2012: What about our 'blind spot'?

The fact that there are no light-receptor cells in the back of our eye-balls at which the optic nerve is attached to them, and which we DO NOT perceive as two 'black dots' in our vision, may indicate our 'mind blowing' ability to 'interpolate' our visual reality in 'real time' and 'full life resolution' ...

So if our visual cortex is capable of this 'error correction algorithm' we may wonder what it 'creates' in the first place ...

The fact, that we even create the perception of 'ourselves' may become clear by this interesting TED talk:

    http://www.ted.com/talks/jill_bolte_taylor_s_powerful_stroke_of_insight.html

To shrink all of this down in just one little word or term, I would use 'imagination' as this is what we do, all of the time and as long as we are alive ...

Ther German word for imagination, 'Vorstellung', is also used in the context of being 'introduced' to someone or something. And to me, this is what we get 'introduced' to when we are borne, to nothing but our own 'imagination' of what starts to form to surround us and by us ...

This is why reality is always a multitude in perception and no absolute entity.

    • Dec 28 2012: A nice suggestion, thank you!
But I've gotten the impression there's a better term out there that I'm looking for.

We create reality. There is no "the truth" there is a truth that exists in us and it's possible to change it, depending on other agents beliefs and powers to exert those beliefs.
Something is usually the truth when the majority think it's the truth, but someone or some people made the majority think that way.

I'll try to use the word I'm looking for in a sentence:
"Who won the second world war? Was it America or was it the Soviet Union? [insert word] believe you can create the truth by influencing people. Most pro-Russians believe they won while pro-Americans believe they won."

If there is no such term I will coin one and start my climb to stardom :) too bad creationism is already taken - I think it's describing.

Dec 29 2012: I too think that "creationist" would be a good term. How about manifester?
