If there is so much aid in developing countries, why poverty is increasing in these regions and the industrialized world?

I'm doing a question for my project. Not only that poverty is increasing in the developing world for the worse, it is increasing in the industrialized world, especially the United States.

Dec 7 2012: If you do an internet search for "foreign aid poverty," you will get lots of hits. I would focus on those labeled as scholarly or that appear in peer reviewed journals.

One of the things teachers mean for you to do when they assign a project is to learn how to gather information, recognizing which sources might be considered reliable, and then to form your own conclusions.

If you just ask people, you get an answer to a different question. That is, it can help you answer the question of what people like the ones you interviewed think is the reason. That is a legitimate and interesting question, but not the same as your question.

I suggest you examine questions like what the aid is being used for or what form the aid is given in, which may vary depending on the country that receives it.
