What would you have implemented in your high school if you were the leader of the Student Government Organization?

Please be practical. I am looking for ideas to propose to the administration at my school and I have to get them to approve it for it to actually happen. I want to do something that's not only fun, but also meaningful, life-changing, inspiring, etc.

    Nov 29 2012: I don't know anything about your situation, what you've got and haven't and so on... but... in my municipality we have the "One laptop per child" project, it's very appreciated, sadly it was very costly here because my government has bad rules on who gets to sell stuff to us...

    But Nicholas Negroponte's idea is quite cost effective and does a lot of good in the world... might be worth looking at if you haven't got it already...
