Let's get this nation of free citizens to fight for the rights of freedom for others around the world; that we often take for granted.

I'm the president of the Red Thread Movement chapter at Southern Utah University, and we sell bracelets that are hand made by survivors of sex trafficking in Nepal.
The documentary, "The Day My God Died" shows girls who've been rescued from the brothels in India, who live in safe houses where they get medical relief from the diseases and infections they contract while they're in the dirty brothels in India, being raped 30-60 times daily, beaten, stabbed, burned with cigarettes and acid and many other unthinkable things when they are as young as six years old.
The Red Thread Movement is trying to raise global awareness of this global human rights violation and raise money to help rescue girls before they even get to the brothels in India, so they can advocate with us and stop the traffickers before they even get more girls across the border to the brothels.
Ideas for raising awareness from everyone are highly appreciated, as well as views of the wonderful documentary, "The Day My God Died" free on Youtube, which can be viewed by following this link:

Nov 10 2012: Though I think that what your group is doing to help those who are caught up by sex slavery is great, I think that you would be more effective if you were to attack that which is causing the sex slavery --- $$$$$ and the Abrahamic religions. But as you are from Utah, it is unlikely that this will happen.
    • Nov 23 2012: There are members of the Red Thread Movement all over the United States, it originally started in Texas. I am just a person helping along the chain of command, if you would like to suggest more involvement in the United States, please contact staff@redthreadmovement.org or call:

Thank you for your suggestions, and by the way, people from Utah ARE interested in helping end trafficking in the United States as well, but our main cause is helping end trafficking where it is the biggest problem- where the largest concentrated red light district in the world is- where there are over 200,000 people in captivity in one city. We're trying to help where the problem is the greatest- in India.
