Why should charity organizations promote and be present at festivals?
Hope to get some interesting thoughts from you:
I'm doing research on why charity organization should be present at public and social events...
I'm working for a cancer foundation that would like to promote themselves as digital embraced events. They are planning a social event at the same time I will be taking part at the SXSW festival in Texas.
The idea was to take the opportunity and implement a small idea at the festival to generate some Buzz. My research shows that this hasn't been done often, which is actually a good thing, but also makes it hard to justify the opportunity.
I was wondering if you could help me out with some ideas or facts why charity organizations should take part in public events like these?
Thanks for all your help,
