    Oct 6 2012: Hi nice.

I think this website is worth checking. It involves eating apricot seeds. Many say it has helped, some say they are poisonous which I know is not true, as myself & my family take them every day as a preventative measure.

    God Bless

    • Oct 6 2012: And that's another reason why you shouldn't ask for a prognosis here: quackery.

        Oct 6 2012: Give it a break John, this isn't a debate..
        • Oct 6 2012: No, it's just you giving false hope to a man with a very ill grandfather.

Oct 31 2012: yeah it is not. one can not debate the effectiveness of a treatment. you have to look at the data.
  • Oct 6 2012: This is a tough call. i must congratulate you for being brave enough to enter this place and ask that question. I dont know if you will find the help you need for your dad in this site. I hope you do. And i hope that with your good spirit you can motivate him to fight and dont give an inch to the enemy for free. If you believe in God then may God be with you and your father.

Oct 6 2012: Nice, you have a challenge ahead, but John is right in saying this is not the best place for good medical advice!

Try some of the medical organizations that have cancer specialists.

Meanwhile, best wishes for your father's health, comfort, and quality of life. It always makes sense for each of us to make the most of our time. None of us knows how long we have.
  • Oct 5 2012: I don't think it's a good idea to ask this question, none of us here know your father's condition so we could be giving you false hope or paint a too bleak picture. Anyway, 82 is a respectable age, we should all be so lucky to live so long.
    • Oct 5 2012: although father but is in perfect condition autovalencia mental and i want to do all posible to help him to survive even be a little bit more. for the tradicional medicine here in chile he is hopeless but i really want to do anyting for him
      • Oct 6 2012: "i want to do all posible to help him to survive even be a little bit more"

I understand that and I hope you succeed, but remember that he already lived for a respectable 82 years. Are you sure you're not just trying to keep him alive for yourself? Chances are he himself is at peace with things as they are. You can't keep him alive forever.
      • Oct 31 2012: I'm from Chile too and I have had a long story with cancer. I think that the best for your family is to talk about this cancer (with your father) and decide what is best for him. Hope is a powerfull weapon, don't loose it, never!

And also remember, death ain't the end of the road!
