Why doesn't the world pool together and disclose UFO and alien phenomenons?

Everyone has seen youtube videos of UFO's. Many of us have had personal experiences with them. The drake equations calls for billions of civilizations to exist within our universe. Why do we humans still remain alone in this galactic family of life and consciousness?

    Oct 6 2012: First there must be evidence that can be disclosed. Personally i am still waiting and looking for this final proof of extraterrestrial entities existence, and i will keep on looking. Now everyone speaks about Extraterrestrial but why cant it be Intraterrestrial? There is a tendency to think that if there may be civilizations in planets far away from our galaxy and that this civilizations would be more advanced than ours. What if they are not better and even are more primitive? Gliese 581 is supposed to be 20.3 light years from us. A vehicle that can double the speed of light would take 10.15 years to get here, and even if you travel at a dozen times the speed of light it would take you more than a year to travel from Gliese 581 to earth. Even if time travel can be accomplished you would travel through time maybe yes, but at the speed of light and that would take us back to the 10.15 years of traveling. Too much time just to make contact

    Sep 27 2012: There is an astronomical number of planets in the universe. We are only now beginning to be able to "see" planets around other stars because of the vast distances that exist between us and them. How many there actually are is anyone's guess.

    What we know about galaxies is that the ones we observe contain 200-400 billion stars each. Our solar system contains 8 planets. If we assume each star has 1 planet, and not more, and we average a galaxy to 300 billion stars we can deduce:

    The Hubble Deep Field image contains 10,000 galaxies. At 2.5 arcminutes, that's roughly 1/2,000,000 of the visible universe in any direction. So if we multiply 3,000,000,000 x 10,000 x 2,000,000 we get 6 sextillion or 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets in the visible universe. It is likely much more than that.

    None of these planets have intelligent life? Give me a break...

    Afraid of humans? Nah... We Arcturians want you to evolve as neo humans, not as sub-Arcturians human, or demi-human Arcturians, or whatever. You know, the pacific islander cargo-cult mentality thingy. The way how you Westerners Westernize Asia. That sort of thing. We want you to grow up in self discovery, rather than ordering you to do so. We want you humans to travel the multiverse in your own ship, no matter how crappy it is, instead of copying us Arcturians...

    We had encountered you humans many times before; unfortunately your jet fighters dissolved in the wake of the anti-gravity fields... we sent telegrams to your leaders apologizing for what happened and expressing our condolences, explaining what we were up to and why we can't risk exposure yet due to the cargo cult thingy, and they seem agreeable...

    Lately though it seems your leaders has fragmented into groups within groups, factions working for the Draconians who are not so friendly to us Arcturians, and has their own agenda regarding the future of human kind, so....

    Basically, the fate of planet Earth and it's human inhabitant are top of the list in the Intergalactic Federation/Commonwealth/Nation. Some members of this elite club wanted to destroy you, and some enslave you... but there are some who actually want you to grow or evolve so that you can join the above said club.

    There are literally thousands of ships orbiting the planet, entering and leaving the solar system on a daily basis, from tin foil scout ship created by newbie races to top of the line crystalline cruiser like the one yours truly currently has. The one basic thing that all these ships have -even the crappiest tin foil scout ship- is an antigravity drive which is used to manipulate spacetime and travel the multiverse. And guess what; that drive allows you to bend space in such a way that it can cloak the ship from being seen, cool huh?

    I view it more as if we are getting 'visits' are we just a scientific study for them?

    Sep 20 2012: The only way for an alien to be accepted by humanity globally is for one to appear at a world conference of leaders and ask "Would you take two laser pistols,a laser spoon and a holoblanket for Antarctica"

    1. An Alien race possesses the advanced intelligence and technology to travel millions of light years across the galaxy to "visit" us.

    2. Once they get here, they are so powerless that a mere Human government can incarcerate them, hide them from the general public, and create a massive global coverup conspiracy about it.

    I saw a bunny rabbit run across my front yard this morning. I swore it was the Easter Bunny, until I realized it didn't leave me any chocolate bunnies on my front porch. I still think, though, that it was the Easter Bunny, because I was taught the Easter Bunny existed when I was a child...and I actually woke up several mornings back then and discovered the Easter Bunny DID leave me a bright, colorful basket full of candy. Old habits are hard to break.

    If Aliens are really visiting us...WHY would they be hiding? If they had the intelligence and technology to get here, they certainly shouldn't be afraid of US. So, they are either being "prevented" from meeting the general public by governments (not likely...doubtful we as mere mortals could do that), or they don't WANT to be seen (which they would be able to accomplish most likely). A You-Tube video of a hubcap, weather phenomena, or camera artifact is not proof of a UFO. And neither is a "personal experience" by one person, regardless of how adament they may "feel" about it...or present it as "fact".

        Sep 20 2012: That, and lets take some rakes and shovels and carve pictures of living things on the ground that exist on their OWN planet to begin with. That should keep them guessing for a few centuries while they try to figure out why their own ancestors may have made them themselves, regardless of how long it may have taken.

        No...wait. Both of our ideas would violate the Starfleet Prime Directive of interfering with the development of an alien species. Never mind.

        (Above totally tongue-in-cheek. Don't anybody get upset about it!).

    Sep 20 2012: I don't think we have enough proof of alien existence. Or any for that matter do I think they are out 100% but if we as a species knew with out a doubt that there was other life out that innate loneliness would release from our core. I personally think that this is why there are not Aliens at Area 51 or maybe we haven't reach the crucial number (see "The Hundredth Monkey Theory" )for this information to transcend our collective consciousness. I believe that depression and that feeling of being alone stems from the fact that we have evolved from a single organism. Even though there are 7 billion people on this planet. I personally think that this sensation that people have of being alone stems from this innate idea that we are all one. And if we do find any living thing bacterial or otherwise outside our planet I believe that there will be this extreme mental release of no longer feeling alone.
