How would you film a vacation video?

Now we had one of our first guests on our program who creates vacation packages for MLT vacations.

Seeing him capture all the sights and sounds of many of his tropical destinatinos which can be viewed here http://youtu.be/DsshD3wZ1cA how would you go about shooting a vacation video? What format would you use to put your vacation package together?

Sep 18 2012: If only i had the power of a gigapan camera in the lenses of my glasses that also tracked my eye movement and synced with the movement,that would make an extremely great reality advertisement.
