  • Aug 25 2012: Taking a moment to appreciate the fact that despite insurmountable odds, the unique individual that is I, has existed to experience one more wonderful day on this beautiful Earth.

Aug 24 2012: I think at my age waking up is very important. If I fail to wake up it screws up the whole day ....

Aug 24 2012: This is funny and profound. When you face never finding your way back out of your own brain in a coma, it is all too real. It makes the sun on your face feel amazing and oatmeal tastes great.

Aug 25 2012: Oh my gosh that is hilarious! Is it OK if I steal it and try it on my kids?

Aug 24 2012: The ability to stand up straight and pray to God.It's truly priceless.

Aug 24 2012: When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I usually do is spend time in prayers and praise to God. Then a brief exercise and vocal workout. What I love most about the morning is the quietness. It is usually cool and serene and sometimes I wonder why I cant write anything in the morning.
I usually get the inspiration to write at night.

Aug 24 2012: yes. i remember that as very heart warming. Their little warm bodies and their hugs. I loved it.

Aug 26 2012: Well I do my best:) I worked second and third shift for decades. To this day, I would rather stay up to see the sunrise than get up to see it.

The only thing worse than morning is morning people!

Aug 24 2012: Every once in a while, with great rarity, I awaken laughing because of something in a dream. It is the best and it usually only happens when I am very healthy. I take it as a good sign and it is great fun.

Aug 25 2012: Always keep Smiling and be Healthy....

    Aug 24 2012: Hello Sam!
This is an interesting and fun question:>)

I think my wake-up call/alarm clock is rather unusual. Every morning at 5:30a.m., a Cardinal (bird) perches in the tree by the bedroom window and starts to sing. I know his songs a little bit, so when I can get my whistle working, I respond. He continues to respond with several different songs, and it seems like he alters them to challenge me. So we have a little fun with each other as he welcomes me to the morning:>)

Once out of bed and finished the game with the Cardinal, I like to open the front door, which faces east, and watch the sun rise....then coffee, and answer e-mails.... it's all good:>)

Aug 25 2012: Thanks for sharing your morning Colleen mam....
WOW!!!!.... Your morning is really interesting and unique..... and next time don't forget to say hello to Your friend Cardinal bird.....

Aug 26 2012: My pleasure Sam...it is always YOUR morning as well....the morning belongs to all of us...it is something we all share...what a gift:>) I will tell my Cardinal friend that my friend Sam Rock, in Pune, India says hello:>)

Your topic reminds me of a lovely book....

Aug 24 2012: Need to do something habitual to make my morning special..

Aug 31 2012: I have actually been waking up and stretching again lately... Come to think of it, I've been doing it most of this year. I think it's a great habit, that I lapsed on through most of my 20's.
