Add 50%waste carpet by weight to Farm Soil

Used carpets are currently disposed in local dumps. If a collection system (installers) were created, the carpets can be collected in bale form. A shredding operation would render these used carpets ready to be ploughed into farm soil. The carpet material will hold water for extended periods of time thus reducing the need to add water to the soil. I would plant feed corn from Monsanto and use round up to kill weeds.
Since I am now retired, I could set up a pilot program if I had the funding. My involvement is not essential.

Feb 16 2011: I would imagine that a lot of carpets contain fairly toxic substances that would leech out into groundwater over time (in the carpet glue if nothing else).
