Have you seen the online TED community How-To Guide?
Greetings all!
Lately we've received some questions regarding the online TED community and the Terms of Use ( https://www.ted.com/pages/conversations_terms ), particularly our approach to removing inappropriate comments. I wanted to point out that we do have a "How-To Guide" posted, in the sidebar to the left, explaining a bit more about our approach to hosting this community:

Discussions and debates happening online, especially in a community as wonderfully diverse as this one, can sometimes veer a bit off-topic or un-constructive. We do, regretfully, sometimes find ourselves needing to remove a comment or Conversation when things get a bit heated and violate our Terms. We don't enjoy removing content, nor do we single out individuals based on their political or religious beliefs. Our only interest is in allowing discussions to stay on-topic, civil, and constructive.
If you have questions or comments, I'll be checking this Conversation frequently, though I may need to ask for your patience over the weekend. :)
Thank you all,
Aja Bogdanoff
