Do we know what the ratio of leaders to followers are?

Not everyone is a leader or a follower in life so my question is: If 100 people were put on a desert island and nurtured and loved. If they were equally taught leadership skills what percentage would step up to the plate and actually become leaders?

Aug 20 2012: Tony, When I went to school we carved in our stone tablets that 20% of the people did 80% of the work. However, as an avid volunteer I can say in our community that the figure is much worse today than when this was taught. My best guess would be some where in between 10% doing 90% of the work and 5% doing 95%.

I base this on those who show up at church, school, community projects, volunteer efforts, youth programs, etc ... If you notice there are the same nucleus at each event.

These are the people who organize, direct, lead, and work these events. They are indeed community leaders.

If I have misread your term "leaders" forgive me.

    All the best. Bob.
