Jul 19 2012: No politics and science are 2 different things.

Science expands where the money is for instance when was the last time you heard about acid rain, it was the last time the government funded a program for it that's when.

The basic problem is that the constituents are not educated in economics. Everyone has an opinion but that is not an education. Until this changes everything else will be like trying to stop the leaks in a sieve.
    • Jul 20 2012: Pat, I agree with you that voters require economic education, but I fear that they would be learning from the likes of Alan Greenspan. After the recent economic debacle his response was basically Whoops, sorry, we goofed.

Addition: I must be in a very cynical mood today.
