Is Morality on the decline!??

Morality is on the decline: true or false?
Or is morality on the rise? May be a time frame might be good for a discussion on a topic like this. Comparing the morality levels that existed in 1st century B.C and now may be meaningless. Since most of TED community have been around for about 25 years, looking at these past 25 years, from what you have observed, do you feel morality has improved in every/any field? Has it degraded in any field? Do you think morality is going to get better or worse with time?

Jul 28 2012: I do not believe morality is on the decline. You can look all throughout human history and find the things you mentioned to be causing this decline, and in some cases it is even more prevalent then it is today. What is wrong with sex, it is natural and gives pleasure? What is wrong with dressing different than others, should we all go back to wearing animal skins like cave men? What is wrong with atheism, why is it bad not to believe something there is absolutely no proof of? How does any of this lower are morality? All of the wars and corruption stem from human nature and its unsatisfied lust for power. We as humans tend to be very greedy, we are also very tribal creatures. If you do not belong to are group, then you are an outcast, and should not be associated with. How can you say as a Christian, if you do not believe in my god then you will be damned eternally. Where is the mortality in that? If there is a God could he not just make himself known so there would be no questioning his existence.
