How do you view seduction as a form of persuasion? How do you feel when you perceive that someone is trying to seduce you? (Remember that
The word ‘persuasion’ has a negative connotation in some minds; while some others view it differently.
Yet persuasion is an inevitable part of human communication. Scientists use persuasion when defending certain controversial issues; counselling, social work, law and politics are all based on persuasion.
Even a friend that tells you “Justin Bieber is amazing!” and talks about him for about three minutes is engaged in a form of persuasion.
However, there are certain controversial use of persuasion such as in propaganda and indoctrination. The right or wrong in this case depends on the message and motives. There is a point where our efforts at persuasion oscillates between persuasion and manipulation; and this raises ethical issues.
Some have argued that ‘indoctrination’ or ‘propaganda’ depends on perception.
So, how do you view seduction as a form of persuasion?
How do you feel when you perceive that someone is trying to seduce you? (Remember that your perceptions may not be the truth of an issue).

I will refer them to Oxford Advanced Learner Dictionary 2010 edition for the meaning of the word.
I also recommend the book 'Persuasion, Social Influence and Compliance Gaining' by Robert H. Gass and John S Seiter. This book will help to see persuasion in a broader perspective.
I am not an advocate of seduction, and I hope not to fall for a seductress. But there are many modes of persuasion that are often overlooked.

If somebody tries to persuade or seduce me the opposite happens. I try to avoid such people.
Science doesn't use persuasion but sheds some light on the subject so it can be understood.

A beutiful flower seduces, fresh baked bread seduces and have led many off of a much needed diet.

Seduction when crafted well is a powerful tool that leaves the recepient of it's aim feeling hopelessly taken & powerless to resist.
Persuasion attempts to appeal to the logical part of us and is never as effective in changing minds. We are emotional beings and being seduced appeals to that part of us that wants to surender, momentary to someone or something that we know is not real. It seems that we all want to be lead astray, if only for a moment :)
Is anyone ever persuaded to do somthing that they don't want to do? Were we logical beings, the world would be a different place for sure. One convinced against his/her will is of the same opinion still.
How do I feel when one is trying to seduce me? It is flattering, even though I perceive a dishonesty there.
Question is; How do you feel when somone is trying to persuade you?
I think that one seeks your trust while the other asks you to abandon what you know and accept some new construct.
An interesting and fun question.

I've always thought that if one must use seduction to persuade then they either have a very weak argument for there cause or did not fully believe in there cause. As far as useing seduction on me that is when I will put them off of any defent answer and take more time to review both sides of the subject.

I am using the female gender in this analogy on purpose here by being male. So you may just swop it if you are female and if you like.

According to the definitions, seduction IS NOT a form of persuasion. Although persuasion can be part of the tactics of seduction, according to the definition, seduction crosses a line including "wrong", "unlawful use of force".
You ask..."How do you feel when you perceive that someone is trying to seduce you?"
Although the tactics of persuasion can be entertaining and amusing, it feels very clear when the situation moves to the level of seduction. I feel fine in telling a person that it is not acceptable, and ask...what part of "NO" do you not understand?
FYI - The challenge decreases as we get older and wiser...in my humble perception and experience:>)
