When we say a person is 10 years or 15 years experienced general manager, what valuable information can we extract form that. Isn't it the skill that we are supposed to focus which alone can highlight the essentials of a particular person and help us see whether there is any mutual benefit between the person and the position.
If there are 2 employees of 10 years experienced is there really any viable data that we can understand from it isn't age a more viable factor than experience.
My statement is "Its the skill set that defines the possibility of a employee playing a role to the fullest performance and experience as a parameter doesn't highlight any vital data on which decision can be based."
How far do you thing this statement holds good.
