if you can lose your home, or job for being gay, can you lose them for being straight as well?

fair is fair right?

for clarification if there are no laws saying that you cannot be fired or evicted for being homosexual, or for being bisexual, then there are also no laws saying that someone cannot be fired for being heterosexual, right?

  • Jun 17 2012: the point I was trying to make to some extent was that preventing discrimination based on sexual orientation is technically not just about protecting the rights of people who are Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and/or Transgender, it is, as it should be, about protecting the rights of everyone.

the other possible point was that if the situation degenerates, we could, in something at least close to a worst case scenario, end up having people that are pro same sex marriage, regardless of sexual orientation, firing and/or evicting people that are anti same sex marriage, and Vice Versa, with both listing sexuality as a cause.

I would like to thank everyone that left a comment
