Have you ever experienced Synesthesia?

  • Jul 6 2012: I've tried LSD/mushrooms which does give a similar effect - being able to see sounds, hear colours.

    It wasn't the best experience in my opinion, and did get scary as hell at times.

    Not for the faint of heart!

    I used this pathways to learn languages. (yes languages, more than one at once) because I was getting lost in translations.
    Translating one language into another sometimes didn't make sense. but using this pathways helps you to learn anything you want very quickly.

    Ex: word TREE doesn't say much, but a physical tree does. so to connect one to another one needs to experience the tree: Seeing and Touching it.
    so from your auditory sense you connect the work to your visual and kinaesthetic senses.

    this topic is widely explained in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming).

    Who else used it, I don't know, all I want to know is how to use it and how to teach the use of it.
