Impossible thinking.

Maybe there's something that human brains cannot think of.. Simply impossible to think of. How scary would that be?

    Jun 9 2012: We can't be scared of it because even thinking of the concept of being scared of the unknown shows that we know that there is an unknown and that we can think of it. If we can't think of it, then we don't even know that it exists, or does not exists. We would have no idea that we can not think of it (sorry to be wordy there).

    Jun 9 2012: I'm sure that there is. It's like saying "Teach that ant addition" An ant does not nearly have the brain capacity to understand the concept.

    Jun 9 2012: There is one thing we cannot imagine, and the very thought of it terrifies me beyond imagination, and that is nothing. We cannot imagine nothing because we have never experienced it. We live in a universe of matter, sound, and light. Even blackness is something. It is outside the realm of our human minds.

    Jun 8 2012: The important question is, how scary is it for you?

    Someone once pointed out that if everything were red, we would have no word for red, and would be completely unaware of redness. Suppose there is such a quality, quality X, and everything around us has this quality, and we are completely unaware of it. Is it scary that we are unaware of quality X?

    Jun 8 2012: But stepping toward the unknown is the heart of what makes adventure adventure. Something we can never really wrap our minds around is how we will think/see the world 1,000 years into the future from where we are at a given time.
