Is creation a single action or a continuous process?

creation:

one time execution and done?
or
enduring and consistent action that requires attention?

Jun 4 2012: Do you mean creativity in the sense of making things or creation in the sense of the big bang? Probably in either case I would have to say that a process is launched and that intentional and random factors shape whatever comes to exist in the natural and made world.

    Jun 4 2012: Hi Nathan.
God created everything in 6 days. He set up the laws of nature & things pretty much run themselves. Which really means run down in obedience the the second law. I guess he can suspend the laws to walk on water etc., but this would be unusual. He will create again in the future to make a New Heavens & a New Earth.

Jun 4 2012: Creation begins with a single action, or actions; from then, every living thing reproduces after its kind. And every work of art inspires another new one.

Jun 4 2012: I think in a way it's both. Any act of creativity has a starting point, a single action if you like. Then it leads on from there and grows.
For example, The Mona Lisa, painted and finished, all done and dusted. However, it still affects and inspires people today. It's not just the creation itself, it's everything else that leads on from it.
