Men and faith and law have had to much control, which is why they are not in the discussion, been in it to long

There was a question asked, rightly so, about why men where not in the discussion about birth control. However one only has look back on history as Melinda Gates spoke about, about the topic of women, birth control, freedom and religion to discover that men where a leading light in the control of all four points. Yes men should have a say now but as an equal partner in the life and loves of women not as something separate as has been in the past

Jun 4 2012: You certainly have a point and it is sad how men and women almost seem to have drifted apart. Although, it seems. less so in the more developed countries.

But your approach with this idea does not seem to bring them together any more either.

Men and women are very different, all the way down to the very cells of the body. Spiritually we are almost opposites, although I hate to use that word. Complementary would fit a lot better and be more correct.

All this is for the reason there can be an attraction and with that attraction a marriage love. In a good marriage, one partner should not have any more to say, or decide than the other. Equality should be the base of that relationship.

Both are better at some things than the other and both need the other to procreate. If we knew the spiritual differences it might be easier to find level ground and come closer.

This is a book about marriage in heaven and 'marriage' in hell. Also about a lot of other things, but that is the basic subject. Seems to me the better we understand the 'other side' the better the relationship can be. Hope it helps
