A network of TEDsters spreding TED across the web for maximum impact.

After all this is "Ideas Worth Spreading" and they should be spread in an organized way.

So here's the simple plan;
We use the biggest social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and so on) to spread the appropriate Talks and Conversations to the appropriate Pages/Groups/Hashtags.

A Talk about cancer can be spread to cancer support groups and Talks about education to different learning institutions, etc etc.

What do you think, is it feasible?

    Jun 8 2012: love it, agree! I try to do that through my university and social media. I believe TEDx'ers at my country should get together for a CRAZIER impact ;)

    Jun 3 2012: I think a great idea, I work actively in studies on aging, longevity and impact that they bring to emerging countries like Brazil, where I live. I believe that any subject can not only use the current tools of TED, but making integration with social media like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter. sorry for my bad English, my native language is Portuguese

    May 31 2012: I would agree. TED seems to have the ability to generate collaberation and appeal to many different levels of interest and skill. It's openness and world-wide availability is attractive to most who are exposed to it. The information offered is of a high quality. Possibly a network of volunteers in particular subject areas would be willing to forward the content appropriate talks to the respective site areas. I think it would also expand the TED community.

    May 31 2012: It is a good idea for a great cause. My apprehension is that those relevant groups which may benefit from these discussions may not be actively participating in TED web medium.. Unless there is a TED group within the popular social media platforms..
