incoming-only secure browser

a software firewall that takes an image of a website, and sends it to the user in a scrollable interface to disallow cookies and malware from entering the user's pc.

once a screen-shot of the web page attempted to be viewed by the user is made, all data relating to tracking information can be discarded locally, and then the image is sent to the user's pc.

this would mean no information whatsoever could be sent out, suitable for secure environments where information containment is top priority but where research is required.

please note that this would not be suitable for such instances of interactive website navigation.

May 31 2012: I think web security should be viewed from a very new perspective. The whole basis for web is interactivity and without it webpages are more like dead. The most propbable solution I think is removing the primary system totally out of the network and using a different system for accessing net.

May 31 2012: you made me think of a limited out-going information/data pipe that allows only registered interaction to be allowed (certain websites, certain data) on a more restrictive side of the coin.

unfortunately, unless complete decryption of data is allowed/possible, then there isn't much way to see what data is going out when encrypted by the website. this wouldn't be suitable for a secure environment. so, in effect, secure websites (encrypted websites) are out of the picture.

May 31 2012: Tor is anonymous; i'm not looking for anonymity but instead stopping data/information from leaking out of a secure area where data can only go one way - into the secure area.

i also have doubts about just how anonymous Tor is from spying networks, it's an interesting project though, i may do some research on it soon.
