Is it possible to develop/design a system with feel ?
i am always interested in implementing technologies in real life, how can we implement technologies in real life to make it more better. But there is always one question in my mind.
Is it ever possible to design or develop system with feel ??
It looks like possible logically.
I mean when we touches any object in real life, there are certain kind of signals which trigger to our mind.
So it is possible to create those kind of signals (by some process and send it to person's mind).

We have lot of joy rides or theatres which give you that have accomplished your vision. There is a TED talk by Pranav Mistry which talks about sixth sense technology but his talk is somewhere close to what you wish to achieve.

I think I got what you are trying to say , there are some 4D theatres abroad which give you that feel and touch (It is something like they create a virtual forest where they show monkeys throwing some apples at you but actually they ll be spraying some kind of water)
All I can say is the future has got a lot to offer for us .. There is a lot of research and development going on at the backend which we are not aware of .

1. tools for recognition that can detect pattern like our face, flower and more.
2. tools for recognition that can detect texture of specific image (soft, or hard etc), and identify it as soft, softer, hard, harder and more...
3. find out & create association between real texture of specific surface of specific object with specific area of our brain, and save it as computerized
4. next, while we are touching an image 2d or 3d, huge memory computerized will search for any possible angles and any possible surface of specific image to find out related possible textures, and convert it into specific command on computer that gives device to create electricity that can be sent to our specific area of our brain as a trigger for feeling of texture, and may be we will feel the texture.
If this can be happened, then there will be differentiation on resolution. There is device that enable recognize several possible angles, and several possible surfaces of texture and links to specific area of our brain. It would be as when we took a picture with different resolution, 5 megapixel etc. Perhaps later there will be 1 megabrain, 2 megabrain that reflects how far for the device enable activate larger specific area of our brain that activate our sense to feel more possible textures (so we can feel an image as real as possible).
Some technological advances now supports these structures of your idea (pattern recognition, 3d, virtual reality, electrodes placed on the surface of the brain to detect electrical signals and more), with a mastery that has not been enough for this purpose, but it's already showing the structure of our thinking that can be directed to the idea. May be in the future there will be a better completion on this field.

But is it possible to store/digitize feel and then flow it.
mean when user touch any image/video of let say any flower, he/she also feel like touching like real flower.
mean Touch + Feel too.
