Are media generally prejeduced against introverts? If so, what should be done to recify the problem?

I have written an overview of media portrayals of introverts, located at http://pleaseunderstandme.wikispaces.com/Introverts , Most of the depictions of introverts that I was able to find showed introverts in a negative light, and even made them seem like acceptable targets for bullying in some cases. Are media prejeduced against introverts, or am I experiencing selection bias? If the media are anti-introvert, what could be done to change the situation?
