Should pharmaceutical companies be sued for withholding data? Also, should employees that suppressed data be held criminally accountable?

Perhaps you or someone you know has been harmed by the side effects of a pharmaceutical drug. What if it turned out that the drug was only approved by the FDA because a purposefully incomplete data set was presented to the FDA? Would this make you angry? What if it turns out it is happening commonly? This is exactly what Ben Goldacre: Battling bad science describes on TED. He is 100% credible and merits paying attention to.     Jun 21 2012: That suti might not go very far because they actually do give clues to what they have been up to when they are caught.You will find the fines in the fine print of annual statements. I became horrified about what they do and what they get away with after I took an MBA! I bet they never expected that outcome. I also think that is another good reason for educating women- we are still sensitive enough and we still love enough others to be horrified by 'business as usual"
