No problems with long-term cell phone usage?

Today children and young people are becoming cell phone users. They will feel the effects, if any, of long-term usage. We have conclusive evidence for the safety of short-term exposure (less than 10 years). However, most of the reports I have read include a disclaimer about long-term usage because there is no data available. The issue for debate is:
The yet to be determined long-term health effects of cell phone usage could be different from the observed short-term effects. The appropriate course is simply to continue monitoring health trends.

Closing Statement from edward long

This was my plan B question when plan A was deleted for non-relevance. I guess those TED monitors know their audience! This did not ignite a firestorm of interest. People stayed away in droves. I still don't know what the TED crowd wisdom is on cell phone safety but I guess the conclusion here is simply "Who cares?"
