intravenous drug & chemical dispenser

an intravenous device that is permanently attached to an appendage of the user, and delivers drugs or chemicals into the blood-stream to give the desired effects on the brain and body.

possible uses:

tired at work? don't get a coffee, just press a button and the correct safe dose of caffeine or other similar drug will be dispensed instantly.

police facing a dangerous situation with a citizen? remote-controlled blue-tooth technology could force the device to deliver a sedating chemical or drug almost instantly.

could such a device help with drug addictions? brain chemical imbalances? blood disorders? other disorders? pain? temporary on-demand-induced high intelligence peaks?
