A patch for our woes

I know that a patch exists for sea sickness and a patch exists to help stop smoking. Could we also come up with a patch for anxiety, weight loss, addictions of all sorts, depression. would this just be the easy way out circumventing the power of will?

    May 25 2012: I wonder if you are aware that motion sickness patches are helping people recover from strokes? I am wearing one and it prevents me from vomitting up to ten times a day. I am pretty grateful for the relief.

    May 9 2012: We could force ourselves to believe there is a loving God looking after us. I don't know if that would influence a weight loss, but who knows, give it a try :)

    AA seems to think that a belief in a higher power helps to fight addictions.
