What do you Reduce, Reuse, Recycle or....Refuse?
Thanks Derek Young. Brilliant point mentioned. Refuse products, services or ideas that are harmful.
Here in the US, my generation grew up with the phrase "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" I want to take that a step further and I beleive if every generation goes one step further, then we truly become "self sustainable". In our world of globalization we are learning that the system of supply and demand rapidly becomes no supply and all demand. Along with the collapse of a financial system based on this supply and demand principle. My idea called "Re-living" is a thought in which we use after school programs as a platform to inform and instruct students how and what to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Everything from rain water, pet waste and toe nail clippings to batteries and plastic bottles. In this day and age there is nothing that can't be "Reduced, Reused, Recycled
When children and young adults see the benefits and results of this practice, there is no doubt in my mind that this "Re-living" revolution will grow with them, taking "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" one step further. We will become a global society, a global tribe in harmony with the earth. And growing with them will be ideas greater than I could imagine along with the technology to back them up.
I believe children have a drive to do good. Iif we teach them now then they will have the chance to "Re-live" a hundred times happier, healthier and more creative.
There are many obvious solutions to the qeustion. I do think there is more than just taking your bottles to the curb though. The more creative the better. I believe that if we want a selfsutanable future that we need efficient, high yield ideas and the ability to reach the people who matter most and they are our children.
