What is your source of Inspiration ?

From where do you feel that you find most of your Inspiration and Motivation coming ?
May it be any aspect of Nature, and Famous Personality, Non-Famous Person or anything !

  • Mar 15 2012: What inspires me is to help other people by way of giving of myself. I help people recover from mental illness by way of teaching them to create a new life for themselves. Once I see they have built a new life for themselves nothing makes me feel better. To be able to help someone stop suffering is a gift I aquired by suffering myself for a long time.

Mar 15 2012: As a teacher I get the most inspiration from my students. How lucky we are to have children to challenge and inspire us in their questioning of everything we think we know and feel. Pure joy.

Mar 15 2012: The Bible, I should read more often!

Even if you don't believe in God, some of the passages are amazing and uplifting. I feel powerful after reading the Words of the Bible, it's impossible to not be touch by it :
"If God is with me, who dare be against me"
"The power of life and death are on your tongue"
"The favors of God surrounds me like a shield"

Etc....ummm so good and free...the Word come alive when you speak it!

Mar 15 2012: Right now, TED is a great inspiration for me. My motivation comes from my desire to excel and to live fully - in my definition thereof.
  • Apr 10 2012: Inspiration enters my life from different wide open doors, if i would sum all the sources in one word, it will definitely be "beauty" i find beauty in people, in art and even in the kitchens, mixing different colours along with using different tools and producing a breathtaking piece of art is what inspires me, Mixing a number of ingredients to make a delicious meal, brings joy to my heart, reading a book, travelling and get connected with different cultures, getting lost in cities and meeting new people are the sources that inspires me the most.

Mar 16 2012: its not just were you want to go but how your going to get their? start their best of luck be well.
  • Mar 15 2012: There are few external sources for me like Experiences and biographies of great people, Few inspiring movies and books, Inspiring quotes, praise from others, etc. But Internal motivation works better than external one most of the times. I find it from my altruistic desire to make this world a better place. Also my search for eternal happiness by establishing inner peace within myself, keeps me motivating all the time.
  • Mar 14 2012: I find inspiration in TED talks and other people that are changing our world for better. I also find technology progress and ideas about how it will help us and the planet Earth the future very inspiring.

On other hand, daily news esp. in local newspapers and TV are, for me, make me depressed and uninspired so I avoid them as much as I can.

Mar 14 2012: From which country you belong brother ?
      • Mar 14 2012: US. Local news are same everywhere (from my experience). It is because we, as human being, tend to be more receptive of bad news.

        What motivates and inspires you?

Mar 15 2012: Yeah ... the same is the condition with the Media of India !

What Inspires me is not any particular thing which I can show or tell !
Inspiration is what I feel can be taken from anywhere ... may it be Nature or Technology !
If we go at the basics ... we can even be inspired from other living creatures which we often ignore !
