If you're having trouble with registration, see the FAQ below. If you don't see an answer to your problem, please contact us using the contact form below. Please use this form for the quickest and most direct help.
- Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. Please check your spelling carefully, and watch for stray capital letters.
- Your username is not your email address. If you have a profile on TED.com account, you have a username.
- If you know you've got a username but you forgot what it was, enter your email address in this form and we will send you your correct username and password.
- If you have attended the TED conference in the past, but have not yet established an account on TED.com (launched April 2007), you don't have a username. Please use this page to transfer your old account. If you forgot the password to your old TED account, please use this form to retrieve your old password.
- Fill out this short form and we'll send your username and a new password to your email address.
- If you don't receive the email within 20 minutes, please check your spam or bulk email folder. If you still haven't received it, contact us using the form below.
- Please check to make sure you're referring to the most recent email you received from us. You may have requested a password more than once.
- Please check the spelling on both your username and your new password.
- Please don't attempt to register yourself more than once. Creating two applications will delay the processing of your registration.
- If you did not see an onscreen confirmation, use the contact form and let us know.
